“About Windows” for example is not a function that you can access from the right click context menu on the desktop. But with Context Menu Tuner, it can be. You see, Context Menu Tuner is an application that allows you to customize the context menu. So if you want to add About Windows to the desktop right click context menu, you can very easily do so. Check out the Quick Look video attached to this review to see for yourself.

Context Menu Tuner will work with PCs powered by Windows 7, Windows 8, or Windows 8.1.
Here is what you have to do to get Context Menu Tuner up and running on a PC powered by any of these Windows editions: download an archive, extract its contents, run the correct Context Menu Tuner executable. Two executables are available: one for 32 and one for 64-bit machines.

The panel to the left side of the aplication’s interface presents all the commands you could add to the right click context menu. The list is quite long and that is very nice – you have lots of choices.
The panel to the right allows you to select the destination for the command you want to add. It also allows you to play with a few settings for the command you want to add: show the command only when Shift is pressed, add a separator, select the position, don’t allow the item to be default.

Using Context Menu Tuner is a very, very simple process. From the panel to the left, you must select a command. From the panel to the right, you must select a destination. Then use the Add button in between these panels to add the command you pick to the destination you select.

Context Menu Tuner is free software. If you like the application and you want to lend a helping hand, make a donation.

Context Menu Tuner doesn’t have to be installed, it is free, and it makes it very easy to add commands to the right click context menu.

Pros

Context Menu Tuner will work with PCs powered by Windows 7, Windows 8, or Windows 8.1. Context Menu Tuner does not have to be installed. Lots of commands are presented on the interface. It is very easy to add a command to the right click context menu. Context Menu Tuner is free software (donations are welcome).

Cons

None that I could think of.
